EPA Approved Wood Stoves

If you’re planning to take advantage of the Biomass Appliance Tax Credit that was reinstated for 2012 and 2013, browse through this section of EPA approved wood stoves. In order to be eligible for this tax credit, your wood stove must have a 75% efficiency rating and be installed in your place of primary residence. To qualify, they also must burn biomass fuels – wood, pellets, corn, switch grass or other renewable fuels. An EPA approved wood stove will reduce your energy bills at home, allowing you to keep saving money even after your big purchase.
