We have used wrought iron grates and have had to purchase a new one every year .They bend and melt , and in my opinion are made this way on purpose.The new cast iron grate we purchased is designed to actualy be used in a fire place without fear of it being damaged by the heat of the fire.It also makes all the difference with the heat it produces while burning wood.I wished I had bought one like this years ago.I would of saved hundreds and hundreds of dollars.Excellent product..

Speed in delivery was very positive. The product is superior to any prduct I saw locally. Shopping vila the internet with a great website is far more satisfying than driving from store to store locally only finding an inferior product.
