The new Compost Tea Tower - Automatic Brewer is a fully automatic aerobic compost tea brewer. This simple design and operation is a continuous brewing system that will provide you with fresh compost tea whenever you are in need.
How it works: The operation of the tower is almost 100% automatic and the single tank holds approximately 25 gallons of tea, but the total amount of tea that can be dispensed over a 12 hour period is over 150 gallons! There is a custom air mixing valve with small bubble technology that will aerate the tea, with a built in thermostatic controlled heater the tea is kept at the right temperature to produce the best tea. Nutrients are injected automatically after each gallon of tea is dispensed and operates with a 1/10 HP magnetic drive pump.
The initial set up is easy, just attach the water and electrical supply and turn the power on. Let the solution brew for 48 hours for the first batch of tea and after that you can run it continuously for 30-45 days before re-inoculation. Re-inoculation only takes about 10 minutes and the tower will then be inoculated with worm castings. The maintenance is easy and you and your plants can start enjoying great compost tea almost immediately!
The Tower is small in size (a 4 square foot footprint), so it can be located almost anywhere. It is built for both outdoor or indoor use. Note: the "bioslime" buildup on the tank walls is a natural occurrence. A "healthy" and "potent" aerated compost tea will foam, sometimes excessively, at the top. The "foam" is proof of an abundance of metabolically active beneficial microorganisms. Start brewing today!
