The Basic Rain Diverter takes rain water from your gutter downspout and diverts it into rain barrels. While this is happening the Rain Diverter prevents algae build up, mosquito (and other bugs) infestation, debris from entering, and barrel overflow. All components are warranted for a period of 1 year after date of purchase by the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty does NOT cover normal wear and weathering, assembly and/or maintenance OR use in a commercial application. At the Manufacturer's sole discretion, products under warranty will be repaired and/or replaced at no charge to the customer. Any returns sent back must be sent via prepaid freight and in the original retail packaging.
Proof of purchase will be required before warranty service is rendered. The sales receipt is the only valid proof of purchase. Failures and/or damage which result from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration or modification, failure to maintain, improper assembly or maintenance, service by unauthorized agency or use of unauthorized components or damage that is attributable to acts of God are NOT covered.

Simple, effective rainwater diverter
I installed the diverter in about 30 minutes to feed two 55-gallon rain barrels. You will need a second 1" hose if you want to fill two rain barrels at the same time from the same diverter. The basic kit only includes one supply hose. The finished installation is barely noticeable, but works effectively to divert water. If you have 4" gutters, you may want to also purchase the 4"-to-3" adapter to make the installation even easier. I didn't purchase the adapter, but instead narrowed the downspout by cutting and bending it to fit. This accounted for most of the installation time. I recommend buying the adapter if you don't want to spend the time modifying the downspout to fit.
I am in the process of modifying another section of gutter and downspout to relocate the downspout to an unobtrusive location so that I can add another diverter to feed two more rain barrels.

This kit contained everything but the barrel. Easy to install. Excellent for anyone who has basins/barrels and just wants the down spout diverter. I installed and that night when it rained I filled up a 55 gallon rain barrel.

So far this rain barrel diverter is the best! It does not leak (like others do) and actually prevents overflow and mosquitoes/critters. Best diverter on the market.
