Product Warranty and Liability Information

1. Products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of original retail purchase. The word "defects" is defined as imperfections that impair the use of the product. Defects resulting from misuse, abuse or negligence will void this warranty. This warranty does not cover defects due to alteration or accident.

2. This warranty is nontransferable and is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of defective product. If the product is defective within the terms of this warranty, the manufacturer will repair or replace defective parts at no cost to the purchaser. Shipping charges to and from the factory are not covered and are the responsibility of the purchaser.

3. This warranty does not cover scratching, scuffing, rusting, paint loss or other cosmetic damage that may result from normal wear and tear, damage due to misuse, alteration to the products or negligence. This warranty does not cover damage caused by vandalism, "acts of nature" or any other event beyond the control of the manufacturer. In addition, defects resulting from improper assembly, intentional damage, negligence or unreasonable use will void this warranty.

4. Liability for incidental or consequential damages is excluded to the extent permitted by law. While every attempt is made to embody the highest degree of safety in all products, freedom from injury cannot be guaranteed. The user assumes all risk of injury resulting from the use of this product. All merchandise is sold on this condition, and no representative of the company may waive or change this policy.

5. We are not liable for any claims in excess of the sale value of the item purchased, including any liability for products not being available for use. We will not be liable for lost profits, loss of business or other consequential, special, indirect or punitive damage, even if advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim by a third party except as expressly provided herein. Our sole liability for any claims, whether based in contract or tort, at law or in equity, for any loss or damages arising, resulting from, or connected with the products, and this agreement shall be limited to the lesser of the actual amount of such lesser damages or the purchase price paid by the customer for the products that are the subject of the claim. In plain English, we will never have to refund more then what you have paid for the item.

Warranty claims must be accompanied with proof of purchase from Woodland Direct; otherwise the manufacturer may decline coverage. All warranty claims must include clear photos and a description of the defect of workmanship claim. We reserve the right to replace all or part of the item if deemed covered by warranty by our company. THE MANUFACTURER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE SUBSTITUTIONS TO WARRANTY CLAIMS IF PARTS ARE UNAVAILABLE OR OBSOLETE.
