The Fire Chief FCOS1600D Outdoor Wood Burning Forced Air Furnace is designed with efficiency in mind. The 1800 CFM blower draws in the cold air to the heat chamber and through the hot air duct, before transforming it back into heat in rapid time! Fuel efficiency is increased through the use of a secondary combustion chamber by creating a "second burn" of smoke and wood gases before they're vented through the chimney.

Its cast iron door is custom fitted to provide an air tight seal, which will both extend the burn time of your furnace and enable it to run at maximum efficiency in fuel consumption. Customer convenience has also been a top priority in the design of the Fire Chief FCOS1600D Outdoor Wood Burning Forced Air Furnace. It comes standard with manual draft control, an ash drawer with draft damper, enamel weather resistant cabinet and slide by-pass damper. This unit is tested to UL391 and bears the Warnock Hersey (WH) Mark, North America's leading product safety and performance mark for building and construction products.
