Frequently Asked Questions
Glass Channel and Handle Finish Option
- What is the glass channel and handle finish option?
The glass channel and handle finish option allows you to select a different finish for these two components of the fireplace door. The glass channel is located just above and below the glass. It is a strip of metal that holds the glass in place. The handles are attached to the glass channel. Both the channel and handle will be finished in whatever selection you make.
- If I select Pewter as a frame finish, do I have to select Pewter as the glass channel and handle finish?
In most cases, the glass channel and handle finish is a unique color that is not available as a frame finish. However, there is an option for the Pewter finish for both the frame and the glass channel and handle finish. If you want the Pewter finish for the entire ensemble, it is not necessary to select Pewter as your glass channel and handle finish (this would incur additional cost). Simply choose "same as frame finish" and the entire fireplace door ensemble will be Pewter.
- What is the most popular choice?
The Stainless finish is becoming a popular selection. However, in most cases, customers are selecting "same as frame finish".
