FAQs

Product Reviews

Works Great!

Generates a ton of heat -- great for warming up the family room!

Product Rating

Great product.

Exactly what I wanted!

Hi Woodland,Thanks so much for our great new heater! We appreciated the timeliness of your response and the excellent customer service your staff provided. More importantly, the heater fits perfectly and works exactly as we'd hoped. Couldn't have asked for more!Best regards,Robin McClish

Fireplace Grate

The tube grate is awesome it heats the room as well as saves on wood because you cannot over load it. Great product.

Zero Clearance Fireplace Heater

This unit is working great and consequently this xmas gift to my daughter is also saving on their wood supply. May consider a fan as their fam room is narrow and long.

4 Tube-Zero Clearance

Item was a gift for my daughter in New England. It is in use and working ok. No problems have been stated.

Awesome!

The heater is just what I hoped it to be , but the fastness of delivery ! I was shocked to come home and find it on porch already! But wish I had went ahead and got the fan with it... but I will be getting it next :)

We are using it without a blower. We wanted something that would help heat the house when facing power outages when a blower would be useless. The grill makes a noticeable difference in the amount of heat coming into the room. It seems a perfect solution to make our fireplace more efficient.

fireplace blower

we purchased this blower to maximize the heat blowing back into our home instead of out the chimney. we don't have an insert or doors so this was really our only option. the customer service rep was super helpful and very patient. arrived in promised timeframe and very easy to set up. has cut back our wood demand, although we did have to learn to start the fire on the new grate- challenging at first, but now old hat. will probally purchase the separate room blower next year- the cost was a little much. thanks again, happy customer

convection tube fireplace insert

Like the product and the heating results; would have preferred the height of the distance between the tubes to be greater. Have difficulty with fitting larger pieces of wood in the space.

It Works....but

Yes the thing works. I did not purchase the over priced blower unit I made one myself for a fraction of the cost. Also it's not very deep and will blow smoke out into the room if the logs get over the log stop. Extending the upper pipes by a couple of inches so they extend further out past the log stop would solve that problem. You must build a pretty good fire for it to work well. With an outside temp in the teens and single digits and within a few minutes of getting a good fire going, the unit will raise the temp from 70 degrees 75. The blower motor is a little more powerful than their unit (based on other reviews) and will blow the heat out into the middle of the room where the ceiling fan catches it and distributes it nicely throughout the room. Of course my blower unit is not a pretty as theirs but I was looking for functional not looks. My wife says the whole thing looks like headers off a V8 engine, I'd have to agree..........Happy Heating!

Style V.S Function.

Impressive. However without a fan this unit is simply a decoration. The discomforting thing about that is the fan almost costs more than the unit. Considering the fan can be built DIY with basic materials has made me doubt the value of this product and regret my purchase.

Fireplace Heater

Today was finally a chilly enough day that I could have my first fire and use the fireplace heater. I did not have my house heat on, so the room was cold. After the firewood had been lit for about 1/2 hr, I could feel some heat, but I don't think that when winter really hits it can keep my room warm. I'm going to keep using the heater, though, as there may be a better way to stack the firewood. If I have to buy a blower I will, but since it has an electric hook-up, I'm not sure how I can place an electric blower in my fireplace without the cord catching on fire.

fireplace heater - 4

two small not enough heat. Probably should have had 5 tubes. Also wood needs to be cut smaller to fit in unit. Wood that I had already split was to large around to fit into unit and had to resplit.
