This damper attaches to the top of the chimney's flue tile liner, providing a tight, gasketed fit that seals in your heat and seals out weather, insects, birds and animals. When closed the Seal Tight Chimney Top Damper serves as a chimney cap and with a slight pull of the chain it releases the spring-loaded top into the open position when you're ready to enjoy a nice fire.

Sealtight Dampers are precisely hinged for easy finger touch control! It is poured in high temp liquid gaskets and solid silicone rubber gasket on the reverse side. These gaskets are not exposed to outside elements.
