Using a fire resistant metal flex hose and a specially designed filtering system for ash, the Cheetah II Ash Vac solves the problem of removing ash from wood burning stoves and fireplaces safely. A special snap spring assembly allows for cleaning the secondary filter without taking off the lid. Please note, this unit is designed to pick up ashes once they have cooled. The nozzle of the hose is approximately 1" in diameter and is not designed to pick up coals or granules of coal.

All components are warranted for a period of 1 year after date of purchase by the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty does NOT cover normal wear and weathering, assembly and/or maintenance OR use in a commercial application. At the Manufacturer's sole discretion, products under warranty will be repaired and/or replaced at no charge to the customer. Any returns sent back must be sent via prepaid freight and in the original retail packaging.
Proof of purchase will be required before warranty service is rendered. The sales receipt is the only valid proof of purchase. Failures and/or damage which result from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration or modification, failure to maintain, improper assembly or maintenance, service by unauthorized agency or use of unauthorized components or damage that is attributable to acts of God are NOT covered.

It made a very messy job quite easy. It has very good suction and the small vacuum tools worked very well getting into tight corners. I would recommended it to a friend. Woodlanddirect shipped it promptly considering it was during the christmas holiday. I am very satisfied with the product and with Woodlanddirect.

This item does all the things that I need it to do, and it does them well. There is some assembly, but it is easily accomplished. This is so much better and cleaner than scooping out ashes from the wood stove. I live in a farmhouse and the stove is in the dining room, so the winter scene unit I bought actually looks pretty next to the stove.
