Crafted from recycled elevator cable, the Masada Fire Pit Bowl is much more than a simple fire pit – it’s a work of artistic ingenuity. Measuring approximately one half inch in diameter, the cable provides a flowing, yet sturdy foundation for your fire to smolder and burn.

Each Masada unit includes a unique, handmade ring pedestal base, which is wrought from the same cable as the fire bowl. The ring can be filled with decorative stone to provide contrast against the ivory cable. As an added feature, elevator cable is a raw material, impregnated with years of grease and oil. The initial "virgin" burn will produce a dramatic amount of smoke and flame. After this initial burn, the cable will oxidize to a natural, earthy patina, after which no maintenance will be necessary. If desired, a simple wire brush will bring forth an attractive, low-luster sheen to the cable.
