Bring the look of a masonry fireplace home with the 39" Pre-cast Masonry Firebox Kit with 24" Chimney. Pre-cast from modular concrete at half the cost, this firebox is not only lighter than the leading competition, but up to 70% tougher as well, boasting a refractory strength of 3500 PSI.
Features:
Approved for multi-story combustible wood floor installation
Compatible with both indoor or outdoor construction
Ready to burn wood, natural gas, or propane systems
Proudly made in the United States
Complies with UL 127 & UL 103 chimney component standards
Upgrading your hearth from a basic metal firebox to an artistic stonework creation, this unit comes ready for assembly indoors or out—and because it weighs less than normal masonry fireplaces, it can be installed on any floor of the house without the need for extraneous reinforcement. The base is pre-drilled to make rebar installation easy, and the included 50 lb. bucket of dry mortar provides everything you need to complete the project. With proper care, the entire firebox can be completed in less than two hours, rather than a traditional installation that can last up to three weeks.
Although this firebox can accommodate glass doors, it is not recommended that they remain closed while a fire is burning. Spark arrestors and chimney caps are also great options to provide additional downdraft and fire safety. The unit arrives ready for wood burning, with a fuel line knock-out that can be placed on either side of the firebox. For those who prefer to keep their fireplace wood burning only, the knock-out is easily mortared off with the included concrete plug—for those who are after the convenience of a propane or natural gas fuel line, no on-sight drilling will be required. The included twenty-four inch masonry chimney can also assist in ventilation, or add the finishing touch to an outdoor fireplace. For all specific measurements, please refer to the attached PDF charts.
Please note that a metal base is required in order to burn a masonry fireplace on wood flooring. All pieces and components are proudly manufactured and distributed in the United States of America, complying with UL 127 and UL 103 chimney standards. This firebox is ICC-ES listed.

Why is NFI certification important for you?
The National Fireplace Institute (NFI) exists to provide standards and credentials to hearth industry professionals. This certification process involves an exam to test the practical knowledge these professionals need in order to fully comprehend hearth products and their venting systems. Some of this crucial knowledge includes combustion, fuel delivery, and draft and ventilation principles for your fireplace.
These certifications are based upon fuel type, which includes gas, wood-burning, and pellet fuels. Upon completing all three NFI certifications, the individual is given the title, Master Hearth Professional – the industry’s most prestigious certification.
Safety you can count on.
Your safety is our priority. Because of the credentials set by the NFI, our certified technicians have a keen understanding of public safety. What to expect from Woodland Direct
When you shop with Woodland Direct, you can trust that your experience will be simple and hassle free, no matter which shipping method your package is transported by.
Ground Shipments
All standard ground shipments are transported by way of FedEx or UPS. Because we are committed to fast shipping and use reliable carriers, the majority of our products are delivered six days a week.
Standard Freight
The majority of freight products ship on standard pallets. Your item may be shipping on a pallet for several reasons. Most products that ship freight are either too heavy or too large dimensionally for ground shipment. However, some are light but fragile, and require extra care in handling.
After placing your order, the shipping company will contact you to schedule a time to drop off your delivery. For this reason, it’s extremely important to provide your main contact number at the time of check out.
Our complimentary liftgate service is available for many of our standard pallet items. This platform is installed at the rear of the truck to expedite the process of unloading your package. The driver will take your delivery off the truck for you, but it is your responsibility to bring it onto your property. Please take a few minutes to examine the exterior of your package for any visible damage. In the unlikely instance that you recognize damage, remember to note it on the Proof of Delivery (POD) slip that you’ll receive from the driver.
Oversized Item
When purchasing an extra-large freight item that exceeds liftgate limitations, you’ll need to contact an outside service organization to rent a forklift. If you have any questions regarding the delivery of your product, the members of our team will be happy to guide you through the process.
