The Emitter for Cosy All-Weather, Alpha Series 120V - 1.5kW is a replacement part for the Solaira Cosy All-Weather and Alpha patio heaters.
All Solaira Infrared Heaters (primary fixture excluding emitter bulb, see details below) are warranted against defects in workmanship and materials for two (2) years from the date of original purchase. This warranty is not applicable in the case of damage from accidental mishap, incorrect use, abuse or damage due to installation that was not expressly outlined in the instruction manuals. This warranty does not apply to damage as a result of electrical installation of specified voltage to supply that is greater than 6% of voltage specified on the nameplate.
Solaira Emitter Bulb Warranty:
Solaira Commercial Grade S-Wave and Philips emitter bulbs (excluding SALG001 emitter bulb specified in Solaira AS1200 residential models, see below) are warranted against defect in workmanship and materials for one (1) year from date of original purchase. This warranty is not applicable in the case of damage from accidental mishap, incorrect use, abuse or damage due to installation that was not expressly outlined in the instruction manuals. This warranty does not apply to damage as a result of electrical installation of specified voltage to supply that is greater than 6% of voltage specified on the nameplate.
Solaira AS1200 (ALL SEASON model SALG212/213) residential heater emitter bulb (PHILIPS SALG001/013) specified in Solaira AS1200 residential models are warranted against defect in workmanship and materials for 60 days from the date or original purchase. This warranty is not applicable in the case of damage from accidental mishap, incorrect use, abuse or damage due to installation that was not expressly outlined in the instruction manuals. This warranty does not apply to damage as a result of electrical installation of specified voltage to supply that is greater than 6% of voltage specified on the nameplate.
The NON-Commercial Philips SALG001/013 or S-Wave emitter bulb is designed to last for 1200 hours with proper care and maintenance see below (Please note that individual usage pattern and location will have some affect on the maintenance requirements and heating element life). Failure could occur within the first 80 - 100 hours should there be no maintenance completed (one time removal of dust. Failure due to manufacturing process (Philips) will be evident within this time frame and are covered under warranty. To ensure optimum heat effectiveness, it is recommended that after the heater has been used approximately 80-100 hours, the front glass is opened and both the front glass and the reflector are wiped with a lint-free cloth**. The front glass and reflector should also be cleaned with a lint-free cloth if white deposits are seen on the glass or reflector at any time. Failure to maintain the heater by clearing white deposits will reduce the life of the heating element and decrease unit performance. Heating element failure due to lack of fixture maintenance are not warrantable and are distinguishable from lack of maintenance by test procedure. Any Heating element being submitted for warranty must be returned for analysis prior to claim being processed.
Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. warrants to the purchaser from the date of purchase and for a period of:

that the products shall be free from defects in workmanship and obscure damage to component parts of the type that might occur during manufacture. Inforesight Consumer Products Inc.'s liability for any warranty remedy shall be limited to either the repair or replacement of the defective device, at the sole discretion of Inforesight Consumer Products Inc.
All claims for breach of warranty must be received by Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. No later than thirty (30) days after the end of the warranty period. The product(s) warranty is the only warranty given by Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. makes, and the purchaser receives, no other warranty either expressed or implied. All implied warranties of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose or use, and all implied warranties are expressly disclaimed and excludes here from.
The aforementioned products have received cCSAus or cTUVus or cETLus or in some instances require certified electrician certification. However, unless expressly agreed to by in writing, Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. makes no warranty that the product(s) will: (i) meet any specification not made known to and agreed to by Inforesight Consumer Products Inc., or (ii) have received the approval of or are certified by any federal, state, local or foreign government agency (including without limitation the Federal Communications Commission) or any other person or entity. Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. assumes no responsibility for obtaining such approvals or certifications, or meeting such specifications.
The purchaser may exercise rights to warranty coverage by notifying Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. in writing of a warranty claim. All claims for warranty coverage will be processed in accordance with Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. Warranty Procedure then in practice. Product(s) authorized for return under this warranty provision by Inforesight Consumer Products Inc., shall be suitably packaged for return by the purchaser and shall be shipped freight prepaid to Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. by the purchaser. The purchaser shall pay all return freight charges for Product(s) serviced and returned to the purchaser under this warranty provision.
This warranty shall be void with respect to Product(s) that has been either modified or repaired by unauthorized sources. This warranty shall also be void with respect to Product(s) which has been damaged as the result of misuse, neglect, improper packaging for return shipment to Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. excessive voltage or with respect to Product(s) which has been operated contrary to current instructions relating to installation, maintenance or operation.
Product(s) returned by the purchaser which do not meet the warranty criteria as defined herein will be returned to the purchaser or disposed of as agreed upon by both parties or disposed of at Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. discretion if no agreement is reached within thirty days. All freight and handling for such invalid warranty returns will be charged to the purchaser.
This is the sole warranty and only remedy of any kind for Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. warranty. Inforesight Consumer Products Inc.'s liability, whether in contract, tort, including negligence or any other legal theory, shall be the repair, replacement, or credit for defective parts as state above and shall in no way include liability for consequential, special, indirect or incidental damage. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranties, either expressed or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. This includes any claim arising out of any help with the layout of the product my any member of Inforesight Consumer Products Inc. staff, whether charged for or not.
Limitation of Liability: Neither Inforesight Consumer Products Inc., nor its suppliers shall be liable, whether in contract, warranty, failure of a remedy to achieve its essential purpose, tort (including negligence), strict liability, indemnity or any other legal theory, for loss of use, revenue or profit, or for cost of capital or of substitute use or performance, or fore indirect, special, liquidated, incidental or consequential damages, or for any other loss or cost of a similar type, or for third party claims by purchase fro such damages resulting to any third party. All standard ground shipments are transported by way of FedEx or UPS. Because we are committed to fast shipping and use reliable carriers, the majority of our products are delivered six days a week.
The majority of freight products ship on standard pallets. Your item may be shipping on a pallet for several reasons. Most products that ship freight are either too heavy or too large dimensionally for ground shipment. However, some are light but fragile, and require extra care in handling.
After placing your order, the shipping company will contact you to schedule a time to drop off your delivery. For this reason, it’s extremely important to provide your main contact number at the time of check out.
Our complimentary liftgate service is available for many of our standard pallet items. This platform is installed at the rear of the truck to expedite the process of unloading your package. The driver will take your delivery off the truck for you, but it is your responsibility to bring it onto your property. Please take a few minutes to examine the exterior of your package for any visible damage. In the unlikely instance that you recognize damage, remember to note it on the Proof of Delivery (POD) slip that you’ll receive from the driver.
When purchasing an extra-large freight item that exceeds liftgate limitations, you’ll need to contact an outside service organization to rent a forklift. If you have any questions regarding the delivery of your product, the members of our team will be happy to guide you through the process.
