The Sunmaster patio heater features a weighted base to protect it from being knocked over. However, to ensure safe operation always place the patio heater on a flat and solid foundation. The anti-tilt switch will automatically shut off the patio heater in the event that it is knocked over.
Sunmaster table top patio heaters use a 1lb propane tank. This tank is hidden in the base of the unit. To use a 20lb tank a change over hose must be purchased seperately to adapt the patio heater to the larger tank.
After the first use the burning element will begin to colorize. This is a normal process and after consistent use the patio heater will have a dark red burning element.
