Your customer experience with Woodland Direct is about to get even better!
Woodland Direct, the nation’s premier e-commerce site for fire products, is opening a new 47,000-square-foot distribution center in Reno, NV.
This is our second distribution center, joining our world headquarters and distribution center in Auburn Hills, MI.
The new facility, officially opening in September, will improve your customer experience by shortening shipping times for West Coast customers and significantly reducing the risk of product damage during longer shipping times.
“Woodland Direct has grown and evolved substantially over the past several years,” said President and Founder Andrew Ingram. “We already ship all around the country. By opening the Reno distribution center, we’re able to serve our West Coast customers more quickly and efficiently.”
Reno was chosen as the site of the second distribution center after a rigorous process to determine which location west of the Rocky Mountains would best serve our customers. Because of the new distribution center’s strategic location, Woodland Direct will be able to dramatically increase its “Quick Ship” product offerings to customers.
“We are excited to be a part of the Reno community, and we look forward to making our customers’ experience even more enjoyable,” said Gunnar Bennethum, senior manager of supply chain operations and business planning.
Local Reno companies Engineered Solutions, Teledata Technologies, and WTR Electrical were tasked with building and prepping the warehouse alongside Woodland Direct.
This new distribution center is just the beginning. As Woodland Direct continues to grow, so does our commitment to getting you the products you need, quickly and reliably.
