After cleaning out my fireplace I noticed my ash dump door adjar. I lifted the door and it fell into the hole. I was totally taken by surprise on how rusted it was and how easily it crumbled. Came to my home rapidly and in perfect shape. Fit the hole in my fireplace, although a bit smaller than I expected. It has not yet fallen through the hole, so I am optimistic. Would like the web site to say something about the variability of this hole size, but could find nothing anywhere at all. Bottom line is that it appears to fit the bill.
