Constructed from Cor-Ten steel, also known as weathering steel, and formed into an inverted pyramid design, the Cono Fia Steel Gas Fire Pit is a perfect example of the modern urban style infused with just the right amount of industrial flair. The powerful 24" burner is designed to push out serious heat while still maintaining a pleasing overall flame. If propane is your desired fuel source, you can either choose to plumb a gas line to the fire pit or hide a propane tank within the base of the fire pit itself.
The Cono Fia Steel Gas Fire Pit is designed with a media grate that is approximately 4" from the top of the fire bowl. The burner is then placed just on top of that grate which allows the flames to burst forth in a brilliant display that will delight and amaze all who look upon it. Reinvent your patio space today with the Cono Fia!
Note: The runoff from the weathering process may stain lighter surfaces so it is recommended that the fire pit be kept off of surfaces it may damage until the weathering process is complete.
PLEASE NOTE: To ensure the longevity of the fire pit, the manufacturer recommends using a cover when not in use.

just right
the medium actually were smaller than I expected but work well combined with the larger size lava rocks. i mixed them in my gas log fireplace and they radiate even more heat and enhance the flames making a very realistic looking ....almost could pass for wood...fireplace.
Lava Rock
The basic lava rock that comes with the gas logs is very lame. The 3rd party lava rock was excellent. I would advise recommending the lava rock from American Glass in addition to what the log company sends. The 5lbs is not enough.
Fire Glass
The fire glass will look great in our gas firepit for on the deck we bought this year. Can not wait to use it. The order can very fast thank you customer service. I would order from them again.

Cono Fire Pit
I have had this product for a few days and I am very pleased. The fire pit appears to be very well made and has performed well. It’s shape and size are ideal for our urban backyard; and it is very attractive (and useful as a table with the metal top that I purchased). The only issue that I might raise at this point is the valve for the gas. It has a very limited range in turning on the gas (by moving the key from the off position to the left). If I turn too much to the left the gas turns off. So it is not intuitive (I would have thought the more I turned to the left the greater the gas flow until I reach the maximum; with the key coming to a stop; and I would then have to move the key to the right at that point to lower the flame.) I have, however, learned to operate the value within this limited range and so far so good.
