A: Vent free fireplace systems have no vents, so the open face is where the fireplace both brings in fresh air for combustion and expels combustion air back into the room. Vent free burner systems burn at 99.9% efficient, so no carbon monoxide is produced. Some states do not allow vent free appliance installation, so please check with your local municipalities for vent free acceptance.
Q: Can you mount a TV above it? A: No, a TV should not be installed above this unit.
