Warranty Coverage
Möbius warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of the product invoice to the original purchaser. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alterations, misuse, tampering, negligence, or abuse. Möbius will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of any items found defective upon inspection by an authorized service representative.
The warranty covers replacement of materials but does not include labor involving installation or maintenance. The ignition system is covered under a separate one (1) year warranty.
Multi-Piece Projects
For projects containing multiple pieces, only the compromised pieces will be evaluated for replacement. All damaged pieces may be claimed for warranty, and Möbius will repair or replace them individually.
Defects Covered Under Warranty
Defects that compromise the product's structural integrity or acceptable appearance, as determined by industry standards and a visual assessment from a distance of 25 feet, are considered rejectable defects and are covered by warranty.
Covered defects include structural cracks that compromise the structure's integrity for its intended use, excessively large pitting, large chips, extreme abnormal variation in print lines or pattern, rust stains upon arrival, and visible repairs that do not meet applicable standards.
The customer has seven (7) days from delivery to inspect and report visible damage or defects. If the damage is caused by Möbius' manufacturing process, it is covered under the warranty. Damage caused by shipping falls under a freight claim.
Items Not Covered Under Warranty
This warranty does not cover calcium-chloride damage caused by salt or de-icing chemicals, damage resulting from improper surface care, damage caused by harsh chemicals, solvents, or pressure washing, loading and unloading damage, damage resulting from improper installation, chipping where hardware is installed, cracking caused by improper soil drainage, or packing marks resulting from long-term storage.
This warranty does not cover damage from misuse or improper care, and such damage will void the product warranty.
Ignition System Warranty
The ignition system is covered under a one (1) year warranty. If the ignition system fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance within one year from the date of shipment by Möbius, Möbius will, at its option and after inspection, repair or replace the defective product or refund the full purchase price paid.
For the ignition system warranty to apply, the defective product must be returned to Möbius within one (1) year of the date it was shipped.
Warranty Claim and RMA Process
The defective product must be returned to Möbius with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) issued by Möbius for the specific product. The RMA will state the nature of the defect or warranty claim.
The buyer must provide proof of purchase along with the date of delivery to the end user and arrange shipping associated with the replacement of the unit. Products being returned should be packed carefully. Möbius is not responsible for shipping damage that occurs to returned items.
RMA numbers are valid for 30 days. The RMA number must be indicated on the outside of the return package, and a copy of the RMA should be placed inside the package with the product.
To file a warranty claim, contact Möbius at hello@mobiusconcrete.com and provide project details, the order number, and photos of the defect. An authorized service representative will inspect and evaluate the claim. Upon approval, Möbius will repair, replace, or refund the product at its discretion.
Replacement pieces will be produced and shipped within approximately six (6) weeks, with shipment times varying by location. A tracking number will be provided once the order is shipped.
For replacements not covered under warranty, contact your sales representative for a new quote.
Protective Cover Warranty
The Möbius by CEM TECH warranty protects against defects in the construction and durability of protective covers that are not attributable to daily use, as well as material defects. The warranty applies to the person whose name is on the order invoice and begins from the date of purchase.
Upon approval of a warranty claim, Möbius will take responsibility for replacing or refunding the defective cover. Möbius reserves the right to make the final determination regarding warranty claims.
If a protective cover is altered or modified in any way after purchase, the warranty becomes null and void. Accidents are not covered under the warranty.
Water Resistance and Moisture
Although the fabric of the protective covers is waterproof, Möbius does not guarantee that water pooling on the cover will not cause damage. Water may seep through seams and stitching, which can result in moisture, mold, and mildew.
To help prevent trapped moisture, the cover should fit tightly and be a few inches shorter than the item being covered to allow proper airflow. Airbags may be placed under sunken or low points of the cover to help prevent water from pooling and allow water to run off more easily.
Water resistance and the prevention of mold and mildew are not guaranteed under the warranty. The air vents provide breathability and help prevent mold and mildew but do not completely protect against them.
Fade Resistance
The protective covers are fade-resistant due to the fabric and color construction process; however, complete fade resistance is not guaranteed. Although covers may lose color and shine after prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, fading will not affect the cover's performance or durability.
Fade resistance is covered under the warranty for two (2) years.
Damage to Covered Items
Damage to the item being covered is not guaranteed under the protective cover warranty. Extreme conditions such as heavy winds and other factors may cause the cover to move or shift and expose the covered item. The covers include an adjustable drawstring to provide a more secure fit.
Protective Cover Modifications and Cleaning
Any modifications or alterations made to a protective cover after delivery will invalidate the warranty. Machine-washing a protective cover will also automatically invalidate the warranty.
For light cleaning, rinse the cover with a garden hose or water. For more thorough cleaning, use a sponge or bristle brush with mild soap and warm water. Allow the cover to dry completely before folding or storing it in a dry space. Machine-washing is not recommended.
To help prevent moisture and scratches, the item being covered should be clean and dry before the cover is placed over it. A properly fitted cover can also help prevent the cover from shifting and exposing the item.
Color Variance
Exact color matching is not guaranteed. Slight color variations are possible and are considered acceptable. Such variations are not considered production mistakes and are not eligible for refund, return, or reproduction. Customers who require an exact color match are encouraged to order a sample product first.
