Good fireplace
This fireplace was suggested by our installer to replace the aging one we had previously. We love the look and according to the installer, it was easy to install. My only complaint is the end user instructions are basically non-existent. The remote comes with decent instructions but the book on the fireplace was written for installers, not end users.

Mostly fits our needs
I chose this fireplace because it was the most narrow gas fireplace I could find, so it's footprint did not take up much space in our living room. However, the flames are not as tall as they appeared on videos of this fireplace. We also had some trouble with installation, there was a slight gas leak coming from one of the connections inside the fireplace. This was one of the internal connections that happened during manufacturing. We had our plumber fix the connection because it would have been much more expensive to have to uninstall and then reinstall a new insert.

Great look and fit
This d.v. fireplace fit perfectly in a new corner application and replaced a middle-of-the-room very large non-vented gas fireplace. The size, functionality, look and output of this montigo offering is absolutely what we were looking for. Tips: plan your application and ventilation needs and measure it out before you are ready to order (read all the manuals). A woodland sales rep can help you plan this out. Doug Korenic was awesome help throughout the process. We are happy with woodland and the communication was great.

Just as advertised
My wife and I absolutely love this fireplace. We added the fireplace to an existing room during a major renovation. Instructions for Installation and product drawings were simple and easy to understand. Buying direct saved us hundreds of dollars ( or more). I had two calls with the woodland customer service department and the representative was knowledgeable and very helpful.
