Napoleon Grandville VF42 Ventless Gas Fireplace is a single-faced fireplace, equipped with an Oxygen Depletion Sensor to give every user the ability to sit back and know that the unit is safely warming your home. The heavy duty design allows this unit to provide up to 30,000 BTUs that can be easily controlled with the simple flick of an on & off switch. Installed with a millivolt system that requires no electricity for lighting or operation ensures this fireplace full functionality even during power outages!
Being known for flexibility, ventless fireplaces do not require venting or piping that would limit the location of the unit's installation. Designed with 50% flame and heat adjustment, the user can make the room as comfortable as possible. Its radiant dancing flames give the unit a glowing presentation and its safety shut-off valve ensures complete security. Choose from a natural gas or liquid propane option that will best suit your home.

Does it come with a blower? If not how much and how hard is it to install into the unit?

A blower is not included, but can be ordered as an upgrade. It is very easy to install and instructions for doing so are in the owners manual.

Does this come in dark walnut?

This is for the fire box only. It does not include the pictured mantle.

Does the fireplace come with the logs? Can you get a remote control.
A:
This fireplace does include the logs and it has a number of remote control options as well as a wall mounted thermostat option.

Can I get this in a corner model?
A:
This unit can be built into a corner, a wall, or have a faux masonry surround built around it as desired.
Q:
Can any surround be used if dimensions match fire box?
A:
Any noncombustible can be used right up to the edge of the firebox. A combustible surround must follow the required distance to combustibles stated by the manufacturer in the owner's manual.
