Fire Pit Warranty
All components are warranted for a period of 10 years after date of purchase by the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty does NOT cover normal wear and weathering, assembly and/or maintenance OR use in a commercial application. At the Manufacturer's sole discretion, products under warranty will be repaired and/or replaced at no charge to the customer. Any returns sent back must be sent via prepaid freight and in the original retail packaging.

Proof of purchase will be required before warranty service is rendered. The sales receipt is the only valid proof of purchase. Failures and/or damage which result from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration or modification, failure to maintain, improper assembly or maintenance, service by unauthorized agency or use of unauthorized components or damage that is attributable to acts of God are NOT covered.

Ignition System Warranty
Fire by Design warrants its products to be free from defective material and workmanship for the period of time indicated below for each product line. The warranty time periods listed below are from the original date of purchase. Fire by Design agrees to repair or replace, at its sole discretion, a defective product if returned to Fire by Design within the warranty period and accompanied by proof of purchase. This warranty does not extend to any Fire by Design products which have been subject to misuse, neglect, accident, incorrect wiring or to use in violation of operating instructions furnished by us, nor extend to any units altered or repaired for warranty defect by anyone other than Fire by Design. This warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential damages and is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied and no representative or person is authorized to assume for us any other liability in connection with the sale of our products. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and/or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to the original CUSTOMER. All electronic ignition systems are warranted for (1) year with a limited warranty for (2) years. As part of the one year warranty, in the event a system has to be replaced due to a defect/malfunction of the system, Fire by Design will replace the system free of charge. This warranty does not cover labor costs. Problems in the functioning of the systems due to gas plumbing or electrical installed by others are not covered under this warranty. In the event a system fails after the first year (from date of purchase) and within two years of date of purchase, the cost for a replacement system is at a discount rate of 50% of the current listed price. Fire by Design is not responsible for the cost of labor incurred for replacing a system purchased at the discounted rate.

Burner and Burner Pan Warranty
The Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to all burner components made of brass and all plates or pans made of aluminum. The warranty applies to both commercial and residential applications from the day of purchase.

Conditions and Limitations

All electronic components and regulators are warranted for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. Warming Trends agrees to repair or replace, at its sole discretion, a defective product if returned to Warming Trends within the warranty period and accompanied by proof of purchase. This warranty does not extend to any Warming Trends products which have been subject to misuse, neglect, accident, incorrect wiring or to use in violation of operating instructions furnished by us, nor extend to any units altered or repaired for warranty defect by anyone other than Warming Trends or an approved subcontractor. This also includes paint, electrical components, switches, igniter, logs, moving parts and gas valves. This does not include service call costs or any additional charges. Check with your dealer for all costs associated with a warranty call. Exclusions to this limited warranty include injury malfunction to the product, loss, damage, defect, failure to function due to accident, negligence, misuse, improper installation, alteration or adjustment of the manufacturers settings of components, lack of proper & regular maintenance, damage incurred while this unit is in transit, alteration, or acts of nature including flooding. Warming Trends recommends that all Fire Pit Burners be Covered when Not in Use. This warranty excludes damage caused by natural wear and tear, such as discoloration or chipping, worn or torn gaskets, eroded or cracked logs, embers, etc. Also excluded is damage to the unit caused by abuse, improper installation, modification of the unit, drilling of the orifices, or the use of fuel other than that indicated on the gas control valve (natural gas or liquid propane.) Damage caused by scratches, items melted to the unit, or other external sources left on surface or from the use of cleaners are not covered in this warranty. Warming Trends, LLC is free of liability for any damages caused by the unit, as well as inconvenience expenses, material and labor charges incurred by the removal or re-installation of any unit. Incidental or consequential damages are not covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover any loss or damage incurred by the use or removal of any component or apparatus to or from the hearth unit without the express written consent of Warming Trends, LLC and bearing a Warming Trends label of approval. Any statement or representation of Warming Trends, LLC products and their performance contained in Warming Trends, LLC advertising, packaging literature, or printed material is not part of this limited warranty. This warranty is automatically voided if the unit’s serial number has been removed or altered in any way. Only the original purchaser of the Crossfire Burner is covered by this warranty. If the unit is used for commercial purposes, it is excluded from this warranty.
