Great Customer service!

I have to say, I was SO impressed by the service Brett Decker gave me on the phone. I had previously called one of your competitors, e.....com, and their rep literally told me that without knowing what stove I was buying, he couldn’t help me with what thimble I needed. I replied that I was going to tell him what stove I was buying, and did he think he’d be able to help me then? His response was that he wouldn’t know until I told him! I’m not even kidding. At that point, I was done, and even tho I finished the call out of politeness, I knew I would NEVER go thru the brain torture of trying to purchase something from these folks. I don’t know if he was going for some Passive Aggressive Man Of the Year award, or maybe Most Resistant and Client Repelling Customer Service Rep award, but I can’t imagine it was anything other than one of those. Nothing else makes sense. In any case, Brett was knowledgeable, congenial and very helpful. He didn’t make me feel that my purchase was unimportant, even tho it was small. Which is smart, since what he didn’t know is that I own a construction company and a bed and breakfast, and our needs over the next couple of years will probably include many different types of fireplaces and wood stoves.
