8" DuraTech Square Ceiling Support Box 36" height
I assume 5 is high on the score above. The Ceiling support box is great. I would suggest that there is an option to have woodlandDirect supply some metal brackets (angle brackets or stright) which would bolt into the ceiling support box and then screew or nail into the wood frame of the ceiling/floor joist. Putting nails into the ceiling support box made me worry that over the years the nails would work loose from the sheet metal. I was surprised that I received the original 11" support plate and shaft. This put the isulation 'storm' collar 48" above the floor of the attic.
