6" elbow stainless steel adjustable elbow
Was a little difficult to connect with existing pipe but other than that was just what I was looking for.
6" SS 90/ adjustable elbow.
I had a problem with these. Male end was not crimped enough to slid into the female end of either the flue pipe or another elbow. Had to be forced to fit. The elbow came apart at two of the swivels. I called for replacements which could have taken a while. Instead I just ordered another and took the originals to my local sheet metal supplier. Looking at the other pieces they said there was a problem in the construction- too loose on the swivels and not enough crimp on the male ends. They recrimped the male ends and things fit better. Test fit all pieces before final installation.
6 " elbow
I submitted a review of this elbow on my original purchase. As a review, the male end was not crimped deeply enough and fit with force into the female 6 " pipe or second elbow. One of the elbows came apart which is not a good thing when it was suppose to go through the wall into the chimney. My local sheet metal shop was not impressed by the loose swivels and male crimps. They took care of the male end crimp but I lived with the rest. I keep my eye on it, everything works so far but one never knows. A complete inspection will take place in the spring after the cold weather is gone. jhl
