Sorry but I really cannot comment on the logs as this point as I have not installed them yet. I didn't know that I had to have a licensed plumber install them or lose my warranty. As I work a lot, and I haven't found a licensed plumber that is willing to install my logs on a weekend, I haven't installed them yet.

I would like to say that my gas log set is BEAUTIFUL! My log set was everything Woodland Direct described under it's description. I got a 15" one and it looks so pretty and warm in my travertine fireplace. It was worth every penny. I would not shop anywhere else and I recommend the same. We bought a shroud and gas logs. Both came in a timely manner and we were very happy with the products. The shroud was more beautiful than we imagined. Devin, the sales rep., was helpful and kind.

Fireplace Replacement

Looks very realistic. The directions were a real pain, even for the professional installer. Needed a flex hose, as the straight piece provided left the logset off center.

Nice product. Quality materials. Only knocked one star off for installation instructions. Not as clear as they could be. Otherwise very nice.
