color of metal work
The screen arrived in a very timely manner, however, there was no packing slip included in or on the box. I was very disappointed in the color of the metal work surrounding the screen. The description reads "roman bronze" and the photo on the web site appears to have a slight golden color. The metal work surrounding the screen is a very dark dull brown that shows no trace of anything resembeling a bronze color.I am disappointed with the color of this screen.
Fireplace screen
Love the look of this screen. When I saw it on the website, I thought it was exactly what I wanted. It did not disappoint. It's simple, classy, sturdy and looks great. I love "art deco" and "arts and crafts" items and this screen fits in perfectly. It was delivered quickly (within a week, I think) and the price was great too. Love it! First time using this website but I will definitely be back.
Arts & Crafts curved fireplace screen
I am very happy with the screen. It looks, and arrived exactly as advertised on your webpage. The delivery was prompt and the screen is very good quality for the price. The only complaint I have is with the condition of the box upon delivery. The box had a 4 inch hole all the way to the screen as well as several smaller holes. UPS also left it on the porch and did not even ring the doorbell to let me know it had arrived. It stayed outside all night in the rain. I feel this is a UPS problem and not your company's fault. Thank goodness it was not damaged from the tears in the carton or by the rain. I would recommend ordering from WoodlandDirect.

I bought this screen as an aesthetic block for our (then) 3 month Boxer pup who had figured out a way to bypass the doggie gate from the hearth room where he stays to the living room which has a nice rug...problem soved and it looks great too. Great stability as well...good weight...not too heavy to lift, but not so light that our boxer can push it over either. It has a nice Mission style to it. Great product. Albeit (I found it) a little expensive, Woodland Direct had far and away the best prices. Thanks for a great product.

Fireplace screen
I purchased both the screen and tool set featured on same page. Just a note, even though the style is similar, they are not the same color, and the fireplace screen is more of a Bronze color as it appears in one of the pictures, and not darker as it appears in the other. Other than that everything arrived at it's destination without any major problems and delivery was quick. I would definitely buy from Woodland again.
