Easy to use and solved my crumbling chimney brick problem. When I bought my 1962 Atomic Ranch House I had many neglected maintenance items to do. I have 3 Fireplaces and two Chimneys on my roof. Neither chimney had a cap nor had the tops of the chimneys been properly maintained so that after 42 of water hitting the top of the chimney brick surround, there had been considerable brick and mortart crumbling. I bought my chimney caps here as well but before I could install them, I needed to fix all the crumbling chimney brick and seal the crown. I only took me about one hour to apply the Crown Seal to both repaired chimneys. The next day, I installed the chimney caps. That repair was five years ago and when I was on the roof this morning, I noticed that the chimney crowns looked like I had sealed them yesterday. No signs of cracks or discoloration. This product is simply the BEST at solving a hard problem !!!
