Very unhappy with purchase,
This product is not as pictured! We’ve had multiple problems with this purchase. 1. They messed up the order and didn’t send pilot light with order. We had to call, send pictures and wait to install until the pilot light came. 2. The picture has a grate that the logs sit on, but this does not come with a grate! They told us that it wasn’t meant to have one and the logs sit right on the insert and the very first time we used it, the logs burned. Why would you sell a product with a picture of logs sitting on a metal grate and not have one? Why not get a picture of what you’re actually selling and not dupe would be buyers? 3. When we asked for a grate to put the logs on they would not sell us one and tried to say they would discount some cheap looking faux grate that attached to front but did not address the charring the fire is causing on the logs. 4. The pilot light set up has no way to secure to the firebox so it either just sits on the firebox able to be moved which isn’t safe, or you have to drill holes in it and secure it to the firebox. Now I have to go find a grate and none of the standard sizes fit over the burner insert and it’s a huge pain in the butt. I wouldn’t buy this product again and wouldn’t buy from woodland direct again because they really weren’t helpful and I’m having to address my issues with their product myself.
