Propane conversion kit
Hook up was easy. Works fine. Flames not as high as I wished. Think that may be a propane vrs. natural gas thing though?
Propane hose/adapter
To be honest it works perfectly with the 12" Fire Star. As it turns out the 12" was too small and I replaced with a 24" Star. The larger star required so much gas flow that the QCC valve would shut down after about 5 mins as it sensed the flow was too great. I added an adjustable regulator and replaced the QCC with a POL fitting and the combo works absolutely perfectly. We now have an excellent range of adjustments.
Special Instructions and Correct Parts Please
We bought this lp hose for our Vests Fia 30" fire pit. We love the fire pit! The hose came with an incorrect fitting. We had to go to the hardware store and purchase a tapered fitting. Even after that we had gas leaks. We found the fire pit has an air diffuser already attached. The one that came with the hose was not necessary. Getting underneath the 165 lb. pit to see that was difficult and possibly not needing the diffuser was not listed in the instructions. After all that, we love the quick release valve on the hose and it works great.

Propane Conversion Kit
The quality of the parts look solid and should last. The assembly instructions are somewhat limited. It would be helpful if the various parts came with individual photos to help identify them. A picture with a completed assembly is vague. Another helpful idea would be a youtube video.

This worked great I love the quick disconnect. I converted a cast iron stove to gas. Easy installation with this hose.
