A log carrier was one of the items on my husbands very short Christmas list. He loves his new log carrier. Being leather ,it is attractive to set beside our fireplace and also will last a long time. He is so pleased. I will purchase another leather log carrier when this one becomes worn. Thank you, C.K.

Simple but sturdy; just what I was looking for.

Durability

This carrier seems to be what I have been looking for to replace a similar one I have used for 25 years. Heavy leather and higher sides to keep debris off clothing while hauling inside. I have not had it long enough to know the long term durability yet but it does seem strong. My only concern is that instead of of the main piece of leather being one piece it is actually 3 pieces stitched together. I figure that even if the stitching wears out along the main seams I could take it to a good shoe repair place and have another heavy duty double stitch added to it for extra strength.

Leather Log Carrier Review

Handles are long enough and thick enough to be comfortable. Carrrier is sturdy and makes wood easy to carry inside. A definite excellent buy. I like it much better than the canvass wood carrier I had bought years ago from LL Bean. I am very happy with this carrier and feel that it will give me years of great service.

Leather Log Carrier

I recently purchased the leather log carrier. It is very sturdy and will easily carry 5 - 6 decent sized logs. It is well constructed and easy to hold. The handles are long and wide enough to make for easy carrying. I would recommend this product.

Leather wood carrier

The leather wood carrier is lightweight, handsome, durable and was precisely what I was looking for. Cannot comment on longevity as we have only used them once or twice. Thank you. A solid product.

Was pleased when I first examined this carrier.Seems well made,sturdy.Have had occassion to use it a number of times and have been pleased by my purchase.

It works just fine, good quallity. Although I find myself wanting to carry in more than three logs at a time. Since it will not carry more, I have a tendancy to not use it as often as I thougnt I would. It was a bit pricey also, at $60.

Assuming 5 is the highest, this log carrier was just what we'd been looking for. Very well made, very durable and won't show wear like a canvas carrier would show (and what most seem to be made of). Carries 6-8 logs sized for our wood stove. Would highly recommend. And it can be stored on our back porch without mildewing, etc.

Great rapid service. The carrier is well made but unlike others I've used, it lacks a set of long handles in addition to the short ones, making it difficult to tote larger loads.

The wood carrier is quite substantial and should be around a lifetime. Perfect for what we were looking for.

Just What I Needed

This log carrier is simple, but sturdy and functional. Carries just the number of logs I can lift (not too big or too small). Leather is untreated (I believe), nothing fancy, but I think it will weather nicely over the years. I was impressed that the carrier came in a box with no other packaging (bubble wrap, paper, etc.) -- no waste! Wish I had found this gem sooner.

Log Carrier leather

This is the third iteration of this product I have owned. The first two I still have and still use both, they have aged very well. Each has seen at least 20 wood burning seasons and are still good and functional. Why would I purchase a new one? I do not want to be left having to purchase a crappy canvas one in a pinch. Heavy duty leather very sturdy construction. The stitching and rivets are strong and the handles encircle the carrier as reinforcing straps. Best I have found.
