Lyemance Round Damper
Works like a charm! Replaced a rusted throat damper with this product. Very easy to install and does a good job eliminating the draft issues we had prior to this.
Lymance Chimney Damper
Although I have not installed this item yet, it is EXACTLY what I had in mind for a custom application in a fireplace/chimney installation in which I could not achieve anything close to an airtight seal at the fireplace/throat end of things. The damper is finely crafted, appears to operate smoothly, and came promptly and in perfect condition -- and was exactly as advertised. Very happy with the transaction.

Chimney Damper
Hello and Thanks for asking. The installation was easy and it worked well the first few days, but now that it got colder I can not get it opened from the inside. I have to go on the roof to pry it open, this is very inconvenient . I think the cold weather kind of keeps the lid from opening. Its seems to stick. No matter what I do from inside it will not open and I have to go on the roof to open it. Is there some product I could put on the lids edge in order for it to stop sticking. It would be just 100% good if it would stop sticking shut...

Lamance Returned
When the part arrived, we were very disappointed. It did not fit. Your firm only carries one size. Now, we still have tarp bunje chorded over chimney top. Can't use it. Your firm needs to carry the model in different measurements.
Lyemance round damper
It was easy to install and pretty much as described. Materials are all very good quality except a couple of cutter pins in the power lever that were made of steel and already rusting when I got it. I replace those with stainless steel cotter pins and problem solved. Lyemance could do the same and the added cost is nothing compared to the cost of the damper. Overall, a good product.

It's hard to find people that stock a round top mount damper. Some pots require a round top mount to work. The cable is only 25' so if you have a tall fireplace, you can go to Ace hardware and get Aeronautical cable with connectors that will work to extend that cable.
Uptop damper
Loved the product. Easy to install - just watch the video on line. Everything worked as advertised. Very cost effective - as I was quoted to install a damper for $1700 - this was less than $200 and was easy to install.
