Q: Can I mount this under a TV, and if so, how many inches? A: This item can be installed under a television with a suggested clearance of 8-12" from the top of the fireplace frame.

Q: Where does the heat come out if fully recessed into the wall? A: The heat from all recessed units will come out of the glass face of the fireplace, normally above or below the glass. This item releases heat from below the glass.

Q: How much further does the wall mounted stick out vs the recessed? A: If it is fully recessed it won't stick out at all. If wall mounted, it will stick out 8" inches from the wall.

Q: How far does the face protude from the wall with a recessed installation? A: If recessed the fireplace will protrude 1 1/8" from the wall.

Q: Does the heater blow out from the bottom or top? A: The heater blows out of the top so the fireplace can not be recessed with less than 1 1/8" protruding.

Q: What is the size of the actual flame viewing area? A: The actual viewing area is 40" x 10".

Q: Can you tell me what the rough opening needs to be? A: At the time of this writing the framed opening for this fireplace is 45” W x 19 3/4” H x 4” D. The owner's manual that is attached to the item page contains all pertinent installation information.
