The Smart-Remote comes with a standard on/off function, while smartphone settings include on/off controls, a timer, a thermostat, and the ability to schedule specific programs. To use the Smart-Remote or smartphone feature, you will need a USB connection and a 110-volt power supply. Remote selection is only compatible with Millivolt Ignition. In the event of a power outage, an on/off switch is located on the Smart-Remote's receiver for easy manual operation.
