Seagulls are among the waves and pass by a message in a bottle that bobs in the sea, waiting to be found another day. This large fireback will enhance your cozy nights as the flames dance across this beautifully depicted image. Firebacks are shipped with a water base black paint to prevent rust build up during transit. To give a brighter finish to the fireback and to protect the casting from rust after use with a fire, an application of water base graphite stove polish is recommended. Applied with a toothbrush or rag, this paste, when dry, can be polished with a wire brush or rag giving the fireback an attractive silverfish shee.
