This Rasmussen Alterna Vented Fireplace Mixed Ball Set is a contemporary alternative to replace traditional gas logs. These mixed balls and half balls come in eight different colors for you to choose from.
These sets are finished with an inorganic, environmentally-friendly ceramic stain coloration that is hand painted onto each piece. Ceramic stain produces a transparent, non-uniform appearance as it absorbs into the material rather than merely covering the surface of the item like paint. This finish will not burn in the fire, but will age gracefully.

Fire Balls
We just purchased a mid century modern home and were searching for fireplace "logs" as we do not want to deal with real wood. Not finding anything, I noticed some fire balls in a neighbor's outdoor fire place and searched online. Found them at WoodlandDirect and purchased after a quick call getting a little more info on them. My contractor found them easy to install and they are the perfect look in our home and put out lots of heat and wonderful ambiance. Would recommend for a different look to your fireplace.
