This spark guard is as beautiful as the picture! It's a perfect fit across our fireplace opening and looks FABULOUS. If I could change anything about it tho, it would be the balance. It feels a bit too light and easy to knock over. Otherwise it's wonderful!

I am completely pleased with the looks and functionality of this product. I think its stylish and functional at the same time. It covers the entire opening and has a tightly knitted wire mesh that allows the heat and light to pace through it but doesn't allow embers and sparks too. A real good product.

Twist Handled Black Spark Guard Screen - 37" x 31"

This screen seemed to be of good quality. We had to return it because the measurements said it was 37" wide. It was actually 37- 1/4" wide. We needed the screen to fit in a recessed space and the extra 1/4" prevented it from doing so. The company took the screen back and paid for the postage because the measurements were different than stated. we then ordered a custom screen.

Very happy with the look and quality of this screen. Built very sturdy. Stands well without falling over in windy conditions (our fireplace is outdoors). We also purchased a fireplace tool kit and grate. Very nice for the price. Broom bristles could be a little stiffer but will do fine.

I was disappointed with my purchase. The add stated it weighted 18 pounds. I doubt it weights 10. I wanted something heavy so my puppy would be protected if her ball went toward the fire place. This screen definitely does not provide that protection.

I was a bit disappointed as the screen does not sit flush with my fire place like my other one. It leaves a gap space on the top and sides where sparks to fly out and cause a fire. I guess I should have just visited a fireplace supply store to make sure I am getting one that fits properly. My other screen was the same size so not quite sure why this one is a bit off as though it was warped.
