Vacu-Stack Air Cooled Custom Chimney Cap is designed to address common wind-related draft problems. Its unique hood and vent geometry increase wind velocity around the cap, creating a partial vacuum that helps pull flue gases upward. This reduces wind-induced downdraft and helps prevent smoke, odor, and flue gases from entering the home, while still functioning as a conventional chimney cap to protect against rain, snow, debris, and animals.

Available in stainless steel, marine-grade stainless steel, and copper with stainless supports. Powder coat finish options are available on stainless models for aesthetic or environmental considerations.

This model is designed for round factory-built, air-cooled chimneys and is compatible with double wall and triple wall construction. It can also be used on square or rectangular masonry chimneys when paired with the optional Masonry Adapter (sold separately).

Stock sizes up to and including 12 inches are generally available. Sizes larger than 12 inches are considered custom, made to order, non-returnable, and typically ship in approximately 1–2 weeks.

Customers across the country have had success using Vacu-Stack for wind-related draft issues. Results may vary if draft issues are caused by non-wind-related conditions. Due to the custom nature of larger sizes, these items are not returnable once ordered.
