The grate arrived with a hole in carton, but product was undamaged. It looks great and certainly seems to be of high quality.....being manufactured in the USA and well made is a really great bonus. It was costly, but I also expect it to last a lifetime! Am very pleased with everything and shall tell others as well!

Perfect Fit

The tall Vestal grate was a perfect fit for our fireplace with the gas log starter we have. It gives good clearance above the starter and looks fantastic as well.

My purchase of a Vestal 23" Tall Modern fireplace grate arrived on schedule in perfect condition. The extra leg length permits it to breath easily and gives a hot clean burn through out the charge. I highly recommend the grate not only to my friends, but anyone in the market for highly efficient grate.

Great Grate

Just right for our Rumford fireplace. Shallow but tapered. Tall legs fit perfectly over gas starter. Sturdy construction makes managing fire easy.

Great Grate!

I recently purchased a replacement grate for my fireplace. I chose this grate in part because of the taller legs - my last one had 2" legs and I put it on bricks to improve draw. This one works quite well, heavy gauge and low profile while still holding wood well. There was a discount on the grate that did not apply properly online. I called customer support and Austin took great care of me. Arrived in a few days. Great product, great customer service, very satisfied!!

tHE HEIGHT OF THIS RACK MAKES IT MUCH EASIER TO CLEAN! SINCE WE HAVE 2 WOOD BURNING FIREPLACES WITH LOGLIGHTERS THEY CLEAR UNDERNEATH AND THE AIRFLOW TO THE WOOD IS VERY GOOD! I own this one and the larger one and they are solid! I removed the loglighters and capped them off as we switched to fatwood years ago but left the gas lines in case we ever swith one of the fireplaces to gas which we have 1 of in our basement!

Fire Place Grate

I was having trouble finding the exact replace great online that I needed you fit my FireplaceExtraordinaire 44 elite so I called the support line. The sales rep I talked to was very helpful and was able to find the item I needed. It shipped and arrived promptly in good condition. I removed it from the packaging and placed it in the fireplace and it fit perfectly.

Best Quality Grate

Grate is super heavy-duty. Had one identical to this for 18 years and was still in perfect condition. However, I needed to get this tall one (4” height) to clear my new firestarter gas line. Just what I wanted. Very thick, heavy, and small spacing between grids to maximize wood burning.

Fireplace Grate

Not as sturdy as I was expecting from Woodland Direct. Also, the grates are so close together they do not allow for good sized embers to fall underneath to keep the wood above burning. My husband is going to try to create larger holes (remove a few of the grates) before our next fire today.
