Crafted from real wood samples to meticulously recreate the look of a real wood burning fire, the Charred Oak Log Set will add a beautiful accent to your hearth with its rustic details. Each burner kit comes complete with your choice of burner style and ignition system, a custom grate, sand or vermiculite, burner clips, damper clamp, and connector kit. The gas line will connect to the hearth kit on the right side of the unit, but the burner can also accommodate a left-hand gas inlet with the purchase of a flex line.
Peterson Real Fyre Charred Oak Vented Gas Logs are constructed of superior refractory ceramics to ensure they retain their strength, even at high temperatures. Steel reinforcement rods are inserted into each log to maximize durability and prevent cracking over time. Due to their ceramic construction, Charred Oak Vented Gas Logs will provide you with plenty of radiant heat during use, and long after the fire has been turned off.

This log set is really beautiful. Hard to tell it is not a perfectly burning fire of oak logs. Gives off a nice amount of heat and a perfect ambiance for our small living room. Very highly recommend!

Warm and Cozy fire place insert
My wife and I recently changed our fireplace to gas, to ease on soil and labor in our "senior years." Woodland Direct was located via internet, and the sales team was very good. They helped me decide what I needed and I came to a decision. We had a plumber install the unit. It really is perfect and very toasty. I look forward to many winter evenings in front of my gas fire. It is very realistic!

Real Fyre Charred Oak-vented
We selected this gas log because of its open log arrangement with pass through knotholes for flames. We were not disappointed. The set is quite lovely with the flame travel very closely resembling a wood log fire. When the logs are cold, the flames tend to be a bit blue, but once they get hot from the fire, they turn a very pleasing yellow orange. Once going for a while, the logs also radiate quite a bit of heat into the room which, at times, requires the gas flow to be dialed back a bit depending on your desired comfort level. The installation was pretty easy though the intructions were a little vague on positioning the burner relative to the log grate. All in all, we are very happy with our purchase.
Easy install.
Looks great and puts out a good amount of heat. Installation was easy for me and I'm a simple "handy round tha house" kinda guy. I would recommend this to friends and family as well.

Great set for the price. Looks great and was easy to set up. Would definitely spend the money on the dual burner...it was worth a few extra dollars.
Wonderful Set
We bought this set for a very large fireplace and it is wonderfully realistic and we loved it but then we bought a bigger set for our very large grate and moved this set to a more regular fireplace where it became absolutely spectacular. We have bought 4 sets thus far from Woodland and this is one of our favorites it looks better than real and throws out a great amount of heat

Great gas logs!
We had been using our fireplace as a wood burning one, but I got tired of the constant cleaning of ash, hauling in wood from the wet & cold, etc.. My wife loves a real fire and was skeptical about a gas (propane) one looking authentic. The choice of these Real Fyre Charred Oak logs was brilliant! It really looks great, although lacks the pop and crackle of a real wood fire. No more cleaning and my wife can light it up herself.. Great service from WoodlandDirect in helping to make the selection and purchase. Arrived in less than a week..

So excited, new house, new fireplace, new carpet! Lit my new gas logs, watched them warm up and within 5 minutes watched a piece of the log pop off and burn through my nice new carpet! Great!

The gas log set arrived quickly and in good condition.I have not installed it yet but it looks easy to install.
I had the 24" propane log set installed by a licensed plumber, and all operates well. The instructions are good and the ultimate fire produced looks at least as well as I had hoped. If there is any disappointment it would be the fuel consumption; about 5 gal propane over three long evenings, maybe 15 hr. Maybe this is reasonable, but an accurate figure to this effect should be in the product description.

Love it. Installation instructions easy to follow, took about an hour or so to install. Fire looks as good as a real fire, the embers really make the difference. Remote is a nice touch although the variable flame adjustment is a bit touchy. The only complaint is the pilot light makes too much noise.

Very happy with them, looks gorgeous. My only problem is, I wish they were longer. There is too much space on the sides, but that's not company's fault. We had to buy that size cause our front to back only measured at 14inches.
Gas Log Set
My husband and I shopped at several stores in our area for gas logs, but were disappointed in the quality and price of what we found. I am relatively new at online purchasing and was a little concerned at purchasing something of this magnitude that I couldn't physically see. After searching online, we found this set and spoke with one of the professionals at Woodland Direct. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the product and told me how to measure, made recommendations, and even placed my order. So glad we did! The logs are high quality and beautiful - both lit and unlit. I highly recommend this company for your fireplace needs and we are extremely pleased with our purchase.
Wood logs
My salesperson Jason Hurley was excellent and gave me great service. I saw this unit in a store and it looked much better in the store than it does in my home. The remote receiver and the pilot control stand out as much as the firelogs.It looks quite fake. I can not recommend this unit. To me it looks only as good as a $250.00 log set and I paid $ 940.00 for the unit plus $740.00 to have it installed. There are much more attractive units out there.

My husband ordered us the Charred Oak vented Gas Log set for Christmas this year. What a great surprise when he lit the logs for the first time, NO smoke or ash blowing on the hearth due to Santa Ana winds! Such a wonderful ambiance this Christmas, lovely fire and glowing embers!
Gas Log Set
There were no issues with the order. I ordered on Thursday the next Tuesday everything arrived in 3 packages. I had a plumber installed the gas line and connect the burner on Wednesday morning and I set it up in the afternoon. That evening we had a beautiful gas log fire. Instructions were clear and I made sure I didn't read ahead, but just installed point by point. My wife commented on that she was drawn to looking at the fire just as if it was a real log fire. We got the two burner style for a big fire and the remote variable setting control. I would suggest paying the extra money for the remote. It's easy to turn on and off and we don't half to reach in and turn the valve manually big plus.

Beautiful logs
This log set is very realistic looking and pretty easy to set up. I spent several minutes on the phone with tech support trying to decide which set to buy and together we came up with the charred oak logs. My only complaint, and it’s very minor, is that if the instructions are going to be so specific on log placement “by the numbers” then they need to mark the numbers on the logs.
