review of stove

I am generally satified with the stove I purchased except for one feature. The high temp fiber board above the pipes inside of the stove is a major pain in the neck. They are light and in two pieces and if one touchs the front piece with a log while loading it comes loose in the middle where the joint is and either drops down or becomes misaligned. Then I have ot reach in there with fire gloves on and try to get it into place. I would certianly think that this is a major issue for people unlike me who have this stove in a studio and have knowledge of these things. You should really redesign this element of the stove. I think in the summer, I will cast replicas of these in castable refratory and design some sort of connetion to elimnate this problem. You should do the same. Other than that, the stove works great, supplies ample heat and is easy to get going and keep going.

Great stove!!! Heats my entire house (upstairs and downstairs) with some strategically placed fans. I stronglty recommend the ash pan for cleaning convenience. Easily assembled, looks great, great price and does the job! Woodland direct has been a pleasure to do business with.

Great Stove

This is a great stove for the money, and it has elegant, clean lines. It arrived quickly and the driver helped me remove it from the pallet for inspection, according to Woodland Direct's instructions. I couldn't be happier. The cabin is toasty!

We love the stove. We are waiting to install it due to it being damaged. We are Just waiting for the side panel replacement.

We have used this stove now for three winters. We enjoy seeing the fire through the glass door and it is easy to get a fire started in it. It is very efficient at squeezing heat out the wood and heats very evenly. We have had no problems with it at all. For the price this wood stove is hard to beat.

Mis-Represented

Never Never again will i order anything from Woodland Direct. After talking to two different sales people and answering all of the questions they asked and providing them with any information that they asked for, i did not receive a leg kit, ash pan or a blower motor. When i reported the shortage i was told that the confusion was in dealing with two different sales people. Again, with both salesmen, over the phone i was told that the leg kit, ash pan and the blower motor was included with the initial order. After a few phone calls after the fact i was told that there was nothing they could do to help resolve the missing items. I was willing to buy them at a reasonable discount but to no avail. BE CAREFUL people, when dealing with them. You could be next.

Love it!

Love my stove; easy to install and works great. Delivery was fast and reliable, I'm very pleased with Woodland Direct.
